Job Description
Our client is an established Italian Food and Wine Import and Wholesale Company. They supply restaurants throughout London and the South East.

They are looking for a Part Time Sales Office Administrator to join the team. The ideal applicant will have worked as a Sales Office Administrator before. Or will have worked in a similar role, such as a Sales Support Co-Ordinator, Administrative Assistant, Customer Service Administrator or an Operations Co-Ordinator, with a stable work history. The salary is pro rata, negotiable and dependent on experience. 

Key responsibilities will include: 
• Updating product information and maintaining the company's database 
• Answering the telephone 
• Taking down correct sales orders from customers
• Entering sales orders onto Sage 50
• Managing customer orders from receipt to delivery
• Creation of new accounts
• Processing credit notes and to follow notes 
• Dealing with sales enquiries/pricing queries/stock availability
• Providing excellent customer service, resolving queries, providing resolutions and managing the customer experience
• Compile emails and letters etc.
• Maintenance of filing systems
• General administration duties as required

Hours
The role is part time, based on 24 hours, 3 days per week. Hours of work are based on 9.00am to 17.30pm, however the office opens at 7.30am so occasional early starts may be required, plus holiday cover.
The days required to work may be flexible.

The chosen applicant will:-
• Be extremely organised and have good written and verbal communication skills 
• Experience with using Sage 50 would be beneficial
• A strong working knowledge of Excel and Word
• Good customer service skills are essential
• Highly detailed, diligent and accurate
• A proactive, professional individual with a flexible approach to work
• Ability to work under pressure and use your own initiative 
• Maintain a positive team spirit at all times
• Knowledge of Italian and Italian Food and Wines is an advantage but not a requirement
