Job Description

Our client is an independent Recruitment Consultancy. They specialise in Technical, Construction and Engineering Recruitment and the Directors have over 20 years combined experience recruiting in these industries. We have built up a very strong Client base and an excellent reputation over the years.

Our company is continuing to grow and develop and we are now looking to appoint an Office Administrator.

The role and responsibilities will include the following:

  • CV formatting and updating the database
  • Creating contract/schedules for clients/candidates
  • Account management – issuing/paying invoices, follow up calls/emails for overdue invoices and dealing with queries, keeping track of what is due and sending payment reminders, processing contractor timesheets/invoices and paying of contractors on a weekly basis, updating database of invoices paid after checking the bank.
  • Staff management – Staff attendance and holiday requests
  • Social media – posting on twitter and LinkedIn with industry related posts
  • Answering the main office phone
  • HMRC Reporting spreadsheet every 3 months
  • Stationary ordering
  • Assisting with bids and proposals

What are we looking for?

A well organised individual who preferably can demonstrate success in a professional office based Administration role, a good level of intellect with an out-going personality. The company has a relaxed but professional atmosphere and want the right person who can fit in with our team

Candidates must have the following:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and follow instructions clearly
  • Works well under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Ability to interact positively at all levels within the company

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous administration experience, organised, able to work at a fast and efficient pace, Good computer literacy, Polite telephone manner
