Our client have a new vacancy for an ambitious Senior Accountant to join their team in Leavesden 9 Abbots langley/Watford)

The Accountant will work with a portfolio of clients and will be a technical specialist within the team; preparing and issuing Financial Accounts, Management accounts and Tax returns.

Be the main point of contact for a mixture of delegated and newly-won clients, manage their needs and undertake ad hoc assignments

Complete year-end accounts to partner final review stage for sole traders, partnerships, LLPs and limited companies,

Increase your personal knowledge through education, training and experience

Be confident and interactive with clients from identifying potentials, marketing to prospects, proposing solutions, quoting for year-ends and project-based activities.

Have a good understanding of management accounts on a variety of business accounting packages such that you could undertake period reviews and explain in layman’s terms any complications of the business.

Be able to train and develop staff and clients on new business software, internal controls and procedures, and getting the best from their own resources

Complete personal and partnership tax returns to include PAYE, unearned income, tax deductions, pensions, self employed and partnership income
