Job Description

Our Client urgently requires a Financial Accountant to join their team on a 6 - 12 month plus assignment. The Financial Accountant will assist in the preparation and maintenance of accounting books and records of the company. Support both internal and statutory requirements for reporting and control.

Duties of the Financial Accountant include:

 Maintain and control the company fixed asset register.

 Carry out regular fixed asset impairment reviews.

 Maintain balance sheet reconciliations.

 Maintain bank account control & reconciliations.

 Prepare monthly journals and reports as required.

 Support the account analysis of monthly financial statements.

 General ledger

The Financial Accountant would require previous experience in journal entries, general ledger and accounts reconciliation. Experience within the manufacturing sector would be advantageous however not essential. Knowledge of Oracle, HFM would be ideal however not essential.
