My award-winning client is based within easy access of East Croydon Station and is looking for an immediately available Purchase ledger Clerk. This is an all-encompassing role with great career opportunities and benefits including 25 days annual holiday, private health after 3 months and a competitive pension’s scheme should the role become permanent. This organisation has a total commitment to its employees recognising the contribution of each individual including those that join the team on a contract or temporary basis. Because of continued expansion and growth the accounts department now requires further additions to its Purchase Ledger team. This role requires an immediately available candidate and will initially be for a 6 month period with a strong possibility of then converting to permanent role within the department.
As an experienced Purchase ledger clerk the key skills and attributes you MUST have include:
Reconciliation of Purchase Orders and Goods Received Notes using Computerised Systems
Obtain invoice authorisation prior to payment
Past experience of Purchase Ledger role processing high volumes of invoices for payment accurately and within deadlines
Resolve Invoice and Supplier account queries through liaison with site Teams
Calculating and recording of invoice receipts per business -unit
Provide cover and support for other Purchase Invoice Staff
Excel intermediate level would be desirable
Excellent communication skills with a steady career history as a purchase ledger specialist
Driven, delivery orientated team player
Experience working in a busy, robust team driven environment is preferred. You must possess excellent prioritisation and time management skills, coupled with a methodical approach. You must be a strong team player, with the ability to work on initiative when required. This role is for a specialist Purchase Ledger clerk who has at least 2 years solid experience within a sole charge role or busy Purchase Ledger environment.
