This is an opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to work in the center of Manchester for a business that will support you through your professional qualifications and provide you with some excellent exposure to challenge you in your role.

Reporting to the Finance Manager the position is far reaching and is ideal for an ambitious studier that is wanting to have more involvement with the month end processes.

Working alongside a team of 5 studiers that are at various stages of both the ACCA and CIMA qualifications the business has a reputation for supporting its employees through both financial backing and study leave to give you every chance of passing your exams first time.

Your role will be challenging but enjoyable, working on the production of monthly management accounts alongside other key functions like accruals, prepayments and journals.

As your experience and studies progress there is a mapped-out progression route through to becoming a fully qualified Management Accountant where your role will then involve supporting more junior members of the team.
