Job Description

Accountancy company looking for senior Accountant to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be either ACA/ACCA qualified with at least three years' experience in Practice. Company is offering a competitive salary (starting from £30,000 p.a.), dependent on the experience and knowledge; company benefits; friendly and supportive team; opportunity to work in brand new modern office . 

The role is Client facing. The majority of the clients are Limited companies and Sole traders. The software we are using currently: Sage 50 Accounts Professional, Money Soft Payroll Manager, Tax filer. 

Main duties and responsibilities: 

The management and accountancy of the accountancy practice itself, preparing monthly reports, raising invoices to the clients, solving raised questions.

Payroll.

Bookkeeping according to the clients records.

Statutory accounts preparation and submission to Companies House and HMRC.

Tax returns for companies (LTD, LLP) and sole traders (CT600, CIS, VAT, ES Sales list, self assessment, etc.).

Bank reconciliation.
