Job Description

We are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a retail business close to the M62/M6 who are currently searching for a new Management Accountant.

This is a varied role where you would not only be fully responsible for the production of management accounts for the site, but business partnering with non-financial managers to analyze performance, ensure budgets are set and adhered to and work very closely with Board Directors to aid in strategic decision making to steer the overall business. Although stand alone to begin with, you will be tasked with recruiting and managing a couple of direct reports so the ability to lead and motivate a small team would be desirable.

This is a great opportunity to undertake this newly shaped role, offering a real chance for a candidate with a mixture of management accounts and analytical experience to put their own stamp on a growing division.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will be fully Qualified (or equivalent) and possess a solid background in financial analysis and advanced Excel. Preferably you would also have previous experience in a related sector and stock experience would also be especially useful.
