They are seeking to appoint an Assistant Accountant within the Housing Finance team. The team provides financial information and support for their Housing Teams and budget holders. The team works closely with its budget holders and the successful applicant would be required to assist where necessary to help ensure an excellent service is provided to their customers.

The main purpose of this role will be to support and assist the accountant in the provision of high-quality services to the associations various customers. You will also be required to complete reconciliations on a regular basis along with financial information to support their European grant claims.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ideally computerised accounting systems, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and prioritise work to meet deadlines. The suitable candidate would also be required to be self-motivated and organised.
