Entrepreneurial group have a newly created opportunity for someone with a keenness to make a real difference and enjoy a business facing management accounting / business partnering position.

• Despite the chaos of 2020 the business is trading well and forecasts look superb for the year ahead. Your role will report directly to the Head of Finance and you will enjoy a high degree of autonomy and a real opportunity to make a difference.
• The role will be broad and will develop further as your experience of the business / sector expands.
• The remit will include: Business partnering, production and presentation of full and detailed management accounts pack (including variance / trend analysis and reporting). Financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, year end accounting, flash reporting and production of MI for non finance stakeholders, VAT returns.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Recently qualified (ACA / ACCA or CIMA) with excellent analytical skills and a firm understanding of management accounting / accounts prep. A confident and proactive character able to present financial information to non finance colleagues. Comfortable using Excel to interrogate data. Someone who has a proactive approach to solving problems. Someone naturally inquisitive who will enjoy digging down into the numbers to provide accurate and useful P&L commentary. The business can offer flexible working (a balance of home working and office based) - best of both worlds giving you freedom to WFH but plenty of regular interaction with your colleagues.
