Job Description

The Senior Analyst Developer will work as an integral part of a small team of developers to design, document and develop integrations, data migration and BI solutions to complement the existing Management Information solutions. The role will require production and maintenance of technical specifications related to the data migrations and data integrations that are required. There will also be requirement for some project management and planning experience to work within the HR and Payroll replacement project.
 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will be a technical expert with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and situations to provide solutions that align with business objectives. They will have a proven track record in business analysis and software development and will be able to use their specialist knowledge to provide input into the project. They will also have experience in implementing integrations and data migrations to packaged solutions and in ensuring that there are reconciliation processes in place to confirm successful data transfer from the old to the new system. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to create and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders. They will also be well organized and be able to use their communication skills to explain technical complexity to non-technical stakeholders to enable effective decision making. Expert knowledge and experience in two or more of the following technologies / toolkits is essential: SQL, PLSQL, Oracle APEX, Oracle SQL Developer, Oracle Forms. Experience and knowledge of two or more of the following is also required: Experience of Data Cleansing and Data Migrations for large scale systems. Understanding of Developing and processing APIs for data integrations. Working with Cloud based solutions and supplier technical team. A knowledge of HR, Payroll and Pensions business areas.
