Job Description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the quarterly, half yearly and annual reports process together with compilation of supporting documentation
- Preparation and consolidation of the monthly group management accounts, including liaising with senior managers and Executive members for submission to the Executives and Board members.
- Manage the UK Management Accounts team of 5
- Managing the external audit whilst being a key point of contact for technical queries
- Assisting on group corporate treasury matters including the management of cash flows and Carbon reporting
- Assisting with preparation of analysis and other ad-hoc presentations and analysis for the CEO, Finance Director and senior management team
- Understanding new accounting standards and assessing the impact to the group and presenting to the audit committee
- PERSON SPECIFICATION
- In depth knowledge of the group reporting and consolidation process
- Qualified accountant with experience working within a public limited company
- Strong academic background
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to implement and improve existing processes
- Commercial acumen and the ability to contribute to the overall business strategy overtime.
- Strong excel skills (Vlookups and pivot tables minimum)
- General Microsoft office skills, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
