Job Description
You will play an important role in organizing information and providing business support within the Specialist Teaching Service.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the delivery of specialist processes and procedures within the Specialist Teaching Service.
- Providing clear information to schools/parents with regard to specific procedures, methods and options.
- Providing the main point of contact for senior members of staff/work area acting as a filter for issues/problems for Specialist Teaching Service
- Consolidating various sources of information to inform others.
- Entering, processing, analyzing and interpreting information on the ONE database for the specialist teachers' caseloads.
- Tracking the pupils Educational Health Care plans on the spread sheet database.
- Scheduling meetings and events.
- Booking and managing room bookings for 3 locations.
- Organizing and managing the home visit process on behalf of Specialist Teaching Staff - to ensure the procedure is adhered to for their safety.
- Authorizing payments and other financial transactions within authority levels.
- Complete financial transactions via the SAP financial system.
- Ordering, monitoring, and tracking of specialized equipment for pupils on behalf of the Specialist Teachers team including arrangement for repairs.
- Quality checking the specialized teachers reports to ensure they are produced to the required standards and timescales.
- These need to be accurate in line with Data Protection and recorded on database.
- Carrying out duties with an awareness and understanding of the safeguarding policies and procedures.
We are working on a hybrid basis where you will work remotely for 3-4 days per week and in the office 1-2 days per week.
