Job Description
You will be the first finance hire, working very closely with the CEO/Founder, taking responsibility for the finance function. The position is an all-encompassing role with a company-wide remit and is an opportunity to bring the finance function in-house and build from the ground up, including designing and implementing all internal processes and procedures.
Key responsibilities to include:
- Build robust, scalable finance and operational controls
- Prepare monthly management accounts with analysis and commentaries
- Company-wide budgeting, forecasting & planning
- Analyze financial & non-financial KPIs
- Provide insights and recommendations to SLT, so as to support business decision making, including geographical expansion & potential product enhancements
- Statutory reporting and compliance, including VAT
- Manage the full transactional finance piece (AP/AR/credit control/banking/reconciliations etch), automating where possible using technology. Currently using Pento, Pleo & Stripe
