Support the group’s board, committees and subsidiary companies by providing general administrative support, planning meetings, taking minutes, issuing papers, maintaining registers, and non-executive recruitment, induction and appraisal.
Maintain the group’s policy and information governance frameworks, working with internal stakeholders to address any gaps that are identified.
Undertake any project work as requested by the company secretary
Play a key role in our diversity and inclusion group and support their wider campaigns.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Degree-level education in a relevant field such as Law or working towards an approved company secretarial qualification is essential.
Experience of working to tight regulatory deadlines, preferably in a company secretarial role.
Knowledge of data protection law and experience of handling data protection impact assessments, subject access requests and data security breaches is essential.
Comprehensive administrative skills, including taking minutes.
Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
Great organizational skills, with the ability to priorities, multi-task and proactively manage own workload whilst working to demanding deadlines.
High levels of confidentiality and discretion given the highly sensitive nature of the role.
Knowledge and understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
