Job Description

Your role will be to coordinate the settlement and reconciliation of payments whilst maintaining relationships with banks and our merchants by providing an accurate and seamless process in all payments processing.

You'll spend your time

  • Managing timely and accurate settlement and reconciliation of payments
  • Liaising with banks on a day-to-day basis on operational issues and activities
  • Supporting management of regional intercompany settlements, accrued interest etc
  • Managing the onboarding of new bank accounts, settling and administering online banking systems and getting respective bank signatories
  • Maintaining bank mandates and monitoring covenants
  • Managing the operation of Digital Wallet refunds and withdrawal banking processes and escalation to support and compliance exception reports
  • Support month end closing and reporting activities
  • Provide treasury support to internal stakeholders in a professional and thorough manner
  • Work with the Regional Treasury Manager on local funding arrangements, liquidity analysis and cash flow forecasts
  • Maintain timely and accurate transactional data in the Accounting and Treasury Management System

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • You have professional qualifications in Finance/Accounting
  • 1-5 years’ experience in settlement of Multicurrency and international B2B bank settlements
  • You have understanding of wire and payments processing, cash/liquidity management
  • You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-cultural Fintech environment
  • You have an understanding of Crypto/Blockchain
  • A proficiency with Electronic Money Institutions (EMI), other payment products is a plus
  • You have the ability to priorities workload to identify the most important and urgent tasks
  • You can demonstrate analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • You are highly motivated; can-do attitude with the willingness to continually update knowledge and skillset
  • You have the ability to identify business impacting incidents and escalate according to the escalation process

Self-motivation and ability to understand responsibility is essential for this role. Training and support are all ways on hand, but we expect the successful candidate to identify the tasks and have a passion for quality and execute on time.
