Job Description

You will be part of a team working hard to ensure the delivery of services that ensure the physical environments provided to employees, students and visitors support the provision of an outstanding learning experience across all our campuses.

You will need a keen eye for detail, as they will be responsible for renewing and overseeing the contract and service databases. Working alongside the Estates Coordinator and the Estates administrators you will be booking statutory planned preventive maintenance.

You will ensure that all works are completed on schedule, ensuring compliance with specification, good working practice, health and safety and that the quality of workmanship is excellent whilst ensuring that the College and its contractors are legally compliant at all times.

Possessing excellent literacy, numeracy & analytical skills, the successful candidate will have experience of sourcing, selecting and negotiating contracts for suppliers and sub-contractors within a complex organization. You must be able to demonstrate an understanding & interpretation of Contractual Terms & Conditions & Service Level Agreements as well as an understanding of equipment legislation requirements and Health & Safety in the workplace.

The role requires liaising with internal departments and external agencies, so you will need to be confident with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with a wide range of people at varying levels of seniority.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will have an appropriate Administrative, Contract Management or Health & Safety Qualification or gained relevant and substantial experience through their current role. You will have excellent IT skills, be educated to at least Level 3 or have gained the equivalent knowledge through experience in a similar role.
