Job Description
  • Generate letters and contracts for new and existing employees.
  • Provide feedback to candidates and handle queries relating to job offers or rejections.
  • Maintain employee personnel files both manual and computer based.
  • Conduct various administration tasks associated with new employees including creating holiday forms and forwarding new starter paperwork to the correct department.
  • Chase outstanding paperwork
  • Administer DBS Applications and renewals.
  • Conduct employment referencing for potential new hires.
  • Handle reference requests for existing and ex-employees.
  • Assist in maintenance, input, and generation of HR reports on HR Key Performance Indicators such as absence and turnover.
  • Assist in creation of job advertisements and post advertisements externally and internally.
  • Handle advertisement response, sift applicants, book interviews, and send recruitment correspondence.
  • Provide the HR department with effective and timely administrative support.
  • Handle queries and information sensitively and confidentially.
  • Any other duties as required in the support of the HR function such as telephone or face to face interviews.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Prior HR experience or similar exposure (work experience/internship/ prior similar role eg talent/recruitment etc.)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • A high standard of written and oral communication.
  • A good eye for detail, able to work well under pressure, and a quick learner.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with Senior Managers and their support staff.
  • Appreciate the need for retaining confidentiality and integrity.
  • Team player who can also work on their own initiative.
  • Flexible approach with regard to work and hours for this on site
