Job Description
Responsibilities include accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, preparing monthly management accounts along with the yearly statutory accounts. This will be a varied role where one will also be responsible for internal procedures and assisting the Financial Controller in developing a leading financial team based offshore.
You will be delivering the accounting and controls, as well as supervising team tasks and other ad-hoc projects. This role will have good exposure and interaction to non-finance and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full ownership of the Management Accounts
- In charge of monthly closing with the help of offshore finance team
- Preparation of financial statements according to management requirements and in line with IFRS
- Managing fixed asset accounting including recording of asset purchases/disposals which are authorized and in line with company CAPEX budget
- Timely recording & payment of accrued liabilities & prepayments
- Responsible for all bank, balance sheet & P&L reconciliations
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Manage daily financial functions, including supplier payment runs and management reporting
- Analysis of financial information to assist management
- Assisting in the transition of bringing outsourced finance function in house
- Assisting in the successful implementation of the ERP system
