Job Description
  • Production and analysis of monthly Group Management Accounts and supporting information, including variance analysis to budget / forecast.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and business plans for investment brands and other entities where Tomorrow shares ownership. 
  • Production of management information for divisional management and budget holders.
  • Cash flow forecasting and treasury function, including short and medium term cash requirements; monitoring debt, bank charges and day-to-day liaison with the group’s bankers.
  • Co-ordination and production of statutory accounts for all companies in the group.
  • Liaison with auditors to agree timetables and resolve technical and interpretation issues.
  • Company tax compliance and group taxation planning.
  • Responsible for the review of the basis, calculation, invoicing and payment of the group recharge system in light of minority shareholder and taxation considerations.
  • Approval / sign-off of payroll calculations before submission to bureau by People Team, together with payroll accounting.
  • Ensure adequate insurance cover is in place across all areas of the group.
  • Advising on appropriate income recognition and accounting treatments/policies for new business initiatives and new acquisitions.
  • To review and establish the impact on the group of changes in accounting standards.
  • Overseeing and monitoring an effective control environment.
  • Providing strategic information and advice to the business.
  • Support with due diligence and other activities.
  • Other ad hoc support as and when needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA (or equivalent).
  • An enthusiastic, motivated and a committed ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Open and inclusive management style, with a mentoring and nurturing approach to junior team members.
  • Ability to “roll up sleeves” and get jobs done.
  • Results and deadlines focused with an excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues and external people at all levels of seniority.
  • Flexibly IT competent including excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • Previous exposure to Netsuite would be desirable.
