Job Description

You will need to work flexibly to meet all your responsibilities and deadlines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Control and reconciliation of petty cash
  • Posting of supplier invoices
  • Preparing payment run for supply payments
  • Preparing termly fee invoices
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Credit card posting
  • General administration – answering phones, listening to messages, answering the door
  • Helping facilitate the recruitment process (posting recruitment adverts, booking in interviews and following up with candidates)
  • HR for all staff, managing the Central Staff Register and keeping it up to date
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Taking meeting minutes
  • Managing the school’s MIS (SchoolBase)
  • Managing the school’s safeguarding system (MyConcern)
  • Reviewing and updating policies and risk assessments yearly
  • Managing visitor sign-in log
  • Other financial duties as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of Xero accounting software, desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of Google Suite, including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Forms
  • Comfortable with IT systems such as MIS
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required to deal with confidential and sensitive issues
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
