Job Description

Your duties will include:

  • Managing stock and reporting on parts usage to ensure inventory in the workshop
  • Duties include Goods In/Out, stock reordering, materials usage for manufacturing of products, transfer of parts to/from other locations, warranty returns etc
  • Manage the storeroom to ensure parts are clearly and safely stocked
  • Working with the rest of the support team, manage customer parts orders to ensure timely, effective delivery, invoicing and restocking
  • Managing and maintaining service records from engineer's visits, including reporting key information to the Finance Administrator and management
  • Complete regular stock takes, including audits of the engineering team to ensure accuracy of stock
  • Support Operations Director in the development and management of improved stock control measures
  • Control goods to/from the mobile technician team to ensure paperwork is correctly reported
  • Devise a cost planning process in conjunction with the Operations Director.
  • Maintain parts and pricing information to ensure correct information is in use by the business teams
  • Attend meetings and staff training courses as required by the business.

Other duties and general administration may be required from time to time as requested by the Directors or other staff members.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The most suitable candidate will have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, a meticulous eye for detail and be an effective communicator at all levels, as well as stock management/stock control experience.
