Job Description

This position is an integral part of the Production team, ensuring that the department machinery is operating efficiently, at all times and handling technical queries. The role will require an experienced engineer who can assist the business with lean manufacturing processes, to aid their productivity levels and maintain all necessary documentation and sign offs.

Responsibilities

- Handle the compliance using the ISO9001 management system, ensuring product quality is prioritised

- Creating jigs and fixtures using the machinery available to assist the production process

- Communicate with Customers to resolve any queries or errors with a product

- Implementation of equipment control methods and logging

- Lean manufacturing management

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Engineering qualification and/or relevant experience

- Two to three years production engineering experience

- Computer literate

- Ability to communicate well both written and verbal with key stakeholders and customers

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing
