Job Description

This individual will be responsible for all Business and Corporate accounting functions including supporting sales and services on questions with customers and closing deals, as well as leading the team and the overall controls and processes that supports the close for all of International, efficiently staffing the team, leading integrations on acquisitions that are International and overall advising the International business leaders on financial related and strategic decisions. You will lead a talented team through the development and implementation of documentation and workflows that build a best in class financial and business planning process to support and impact company’s growth and profitability. The position collaborates with stakeholders across the finance and business community which requires someone who thrives on collaborating with a diverse team located across multiple locations and countries in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Company’s core financial process including monthly closes and statutory reporting requirements
  • Ensure strong business partnering with key internal customers including all colleagues that report to the CFO
  • Analysis of operating results compared to plan, prior periods, and forecasts. Includes institution of the framework for P&L analysis.
  • Preparation of statutory reporting financial statements and ensure compliance in all applicable countries
  • Work closely with the CFO and other colleagues that report to CFO
  • Analyze trends in revenue, expense, capital expenditures, and other related areas on a monthly basis as part of the close.
  • Assist with special financial and business-related analysis and cooperate with other departments in preparing analyses.
  • Advise International leaders with financial and business decisions throughout the organization
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and forecast.
  • Support all external financial reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Support the FP&A team in helping with budgeting and forecasting insight, as needed.
  • Support audit requirements and responses to questions and inquiries.
  • Perform economic evaluations of projects and investments to improve operational performance.
  • Responsible for ensuring International team follows and aligns with all corporate accounting policies and procedures that the Corporate Controller rolls out
  • Integrate acquisitions and team members that support International business operations

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 15 years of accounting experience with at least five years as an accounting leader
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and adequate control environment that supports US GAAP
  • Demonstrated experience in the application of analytical methods of addressing business issues, with an emphasis on overall corporate decision analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience using Excel to build and maintain perform financial and data analysis.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with ERP systems and Analytical tools (i.e. Netsuite, SAP, Anaplan, Excel or similar)
  • BA/BS Degree
  • MBA and CPA highly preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Software and SaaS experience
  • Experience working in both public company and private equity settings
  • IPO experience
  • Netsuite and Anaplan experience
  • System implementation experience
  • Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • A high degree of integrity and accountability in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lead, develop, and mentor team members
  • Multiple geography experience and experience of working within a centralized Finance model
  • Demonstrated time-management and multi-tasking skills coupled with a keen ability to prioritize assignments
