Job Description

You will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. This role will include the organization of UK, international travel and conference registration and upcoming events and mentoring office assistants, whilst making arrangements for new starters. You will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. You will be able to hit the ground running and will be self-motivated and trustworthy.
You will ensure the smooth running of the company’s offices and contribute to driving sustainable growth.
What will you be responsible for?

  • Arranging of meetings, preparation of agendas and minutes
  • Supporting of the recruitment process by arranging interviews, meeting and greeting candidates
  • Providing assistance to managers with processing, filing and distribution of documents and chasing of actions
  • Maintaining and updating of records and databases
  • Making of arrangements for new starters, visiting scientists and students, liaising with other staff to ensure that computer accounts are set up, office accommodation is provided, site passes are issued etc.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Discreet and professional approach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to cope with multiple tasks and priorities appropriately
