Job Description

The purpose of the role is to provide administrative Technical to the International Technical team. The role holder will primarily be responsible in the preparation of export technical documentation required as per regulation. However the role will holder will also have other administrative tasks such as answering customer queries with technical information
What you'll be doing:

  • Using the Hamilton Grant system, create export documentation according to EU regulation requirements.
  • Creating ‘Schedules’ for products requiring Health Certificates, obtaining information from suppliers to be able to do this
  • Working with the Customer Service Team to answer queries regarding export documentation
  • Will answer customer queries as required
  • Provide administrative support managing invoices etc.
  • Support the international technical team with projects as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Basic IT skills (to be able to be trained on our specification system)
  • Good administrative skills
  • Be able to manage large volumes of information via spreadsheets
  • Attention to detail
  • Planning, organizing and time management (to be able to complete project on time)
  • Would suit someone with previous specification experience who have dealt with product specification systems but not essential
  • Would also suit someone from an export administration background who has experience with custom agents
