Job Description

You will be heavily involved in our Netsuite migration and have experience in developing finance processes including month end reporting cycle and AP/AR function from scratch. Your hands-on nature will help us build best-in-class finance processes as we transition to our new ERP tool.

You will be a technical accountant who will ensure compliance with statutory standards, financial regulations and have a real working knowledge of best practice accounting principles.

Working alongside the business and finance teams to create a robust and well understood balance sheet implementing a monthly cadence process with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Owning the creation and support of finance and month end processes that enable our ERP migration. This includes setting up a P2P function, payroll, month end close procedures and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Setting up intercompany/transfer-pricing agreements between subsidiaries.
  • Ensuring all accounting practices follow legal guidelines and established accounting principles and providing guidance to the business on all accounting queries
  • Conduct and lead the annual audit, liaising with external audit and tax advisors
  • Contribute to running the day-to-day operations within the finance function, this will include supporting purchase ledger, sales ledger, accruals & prepayments process, journal entries and payroll management, billing, tax, internal controls, intercompany activity, audit)
  • Supporting the FD on other ad hoc duties such as reporting and future fundraising – includes consolidation of all business unit/entities
  • Oversight of treasury management and cash flow forecasting

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

  • Yearly bonus

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with at least 3 years post qualification experience
  • Strong technical accounting skills and controls experience gained in either an audit or financial reporting environment
  • Expert user in Netsuite (SAP desirable as well), Excel and PowerPoint and can manipulate complex data sets
  • Previous experience on ERP migrations and creating high performing finance teams
  • Strong process improvement and finance project skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in a Private Equity backed environment, or similar growth company desirable
  • Positive ‘can do’ disposition, and ability to forge close relationships with stakeholders
