Job Description

Curve is looking for a qualified Financial Controller to lead our rapidly-evolving controllership function. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of Curve as the complexity of the business scales from both a product and geographic perspective. This is a highly visible role with regular exposure across the senior leadership team and key business stakeholders, reporting directly to the CFO.

Some of the great things you’ll be doing with us:

• Oversight of the core finance function: data completeness/accuracy, external audit, accounts payable, Compliance and internal controls, etc.
• Reporting: drive timely month-end close process in partnership with FP&A; annual statutory reporting
• Tax: develop tax strategy across Curve’s growing entity structure in Europe and North America; VAT optimization, R&D tax credits, etc.
• Treasury: orchestrate Curve’s core settlement activities, liquidity, and banking relationships
• Ownership of Payments Finance function optimizing revenue/cost transaction economics and FX platform

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent), with at least 8 years PQE Demonstrated leadership skills and track record of building high-performing teams Experience in a hyper growth business environment within FRS/IFRS (US GAAP a plus) Payments expertise highly preferred (issuer, acquirer, network, fintech) Strategic mindset and ability to set vision for the team with a ruthless focus on execution
