Job Description
  • You will be responsible for supervising the finance team, offering support, training, guidance and motivation ensuring operating procedures are in place and being adhered to.
  • Team guidance, training and development
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Purchase order log maintained with correct coding
  • Processing monthly affiliate invoice
  • Supplier payment runs
  • Accounts payable balancing for end of month closure
  • Petty cash reclaims
  • Payroll forecasting
  • Food and beverage cost control
  • Support in the preparation of accurate monthly accounts (journals, income statement, Balance sheet)
  • Variance analysis and investigations.
  • Supporting with internal and external audit requests

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Must be able to work independently and part of a team.
  • Communication skills are a must, conveying appropriately with guests, suppliers, team members and managers.
  • Time management is essential, being capable of working to deadlines.
  • Experience using Oracle fusion, ONQ PMS & Agilysys POS systems are advantageous with proficiency in Microsoft packages, especially excel essential.

  • Hotel Finance: 1 year (required)
