Job Description

• Overall management of accounting operations, coordinating central services including billing, A/R, A/P, G/L, cost accounting, revenue recognition
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Prepare and coordinate statutory reporting
• Maintain & strengthen business processes, internal controls and accounting policies
• Liaise with external auditors and handle any financial irregularities as they arise
• Additional controller duties as necessary

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field; postgraduate degree in Finance is desirable.
• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
• Excellent knowledge of English (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus) Extra languages desired.
• Fully qualified accountant ACA / ACCCA
• Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Navision)
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Excellent accounting software user, Microsoft Excel and administration skills
• Well organized, self-driven, flexible and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
