Job Description
Here you’ll be working in a varied role, covering all elements of the product launch process. Supporting the senior team, you’ll be working with clients. There are very few roles out there which offer the chance to work across such a breadth of product categories and customers.
Day to day, you’ll be involved in benchmarking and tasting sessions, shelf-life and quality testing. You’ll be hands-on in the development kitchen, preparing samples for reviews and customer presentations. You’ll be researching new food and consumer trends across ingredients, packaging and flavors. The role involves providing administrative support to the senior team and generating reports and product data.
Joining a close-knit and supportive team, you’ll be mentored and coached by talented Food & Drink professionals who have gained impressive experience across the industry.
This is a great opportunity to build on your knowledge of Food Science/Nutrition from university and develop your knowledge in Product Development across a wide range of manufacturing processes and food and drink categories.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ideally, you’ll have gained some experience in NPD and have good project management and organizational skills. You’ll have a keen interest in all things culinary and be comfortable in the kitchen making up recipes.
You will be mainly based at the office and development kitchen. There will be some travel to research products and visit customers so you’ll need your own transport and driving license. It’s a full-time role working Monday-Friday office hours.
