Job Description

Working in a hands-on environment this role requires a confident self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills who can work effectively with all areas of the business, customers and suppliers. You will equally enjoy taking ownership of you own duties with an adaptable approach to business requirements. It is essential that you demonstrate experience of having carried out a similar role in order make a smooth transition into the role.

Key duties will include:

  • Matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Processing purchase invoices and expenses
  • Resolving supplier queries
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Ensuring that invoices are authorized for payment
  • Preparing supplier payment runs
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Raising credit notes
  • Credit control
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Cash book maintenance
  • Month end support
  • Supporting the Financial Controller

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Able to produce accounts up to Trial Balance
  • Flexible and adaptable approach
  • Self-sufficient with good working knowledge of software / accounting systems
  • Enthusiastic and keen to add value to the Finance department
