Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their Accounts department on a part time permanent basis. (Hours are negotiable for the right candidate).

  • To professionally and effectively assist in managing credit risk
  • To continually strive to foster even better working relationships with our internal and external customers
  • To deliver excellent Customer Service in all aspects of the role, thereby contributing to the achievement of the company goals.
  • Main Duties
  • To manage all aspects of the Customer Accounts
  • To establish excellent communication and working relationships with internal and external customers
  • To deal with queries and potential problems/issues quickly on own initiative, sensitively and assertively
  • To organize and plan own workload in order to meet all deadlines
  • To fit within the existing team and work effectively and professionally at all times
  • Routine Credit Control
  • Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
  • Adhoc Admin tasks

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Minimum Grade C GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Experience of busy credit control environment, as a controller
  • Working experience of Sales/Purchase Ledger
  • Basic understanding of financial accounts
  • Credit vetting
