The Director of Finance for the London region is the accountable person for finance and will have responsibility to provide the strategic financial direction. You will drive continuous improvement in quality of care and health outcomes, improvements in performance against company constitution standards and ensuring that local health systems live within their combined financial budgets.
The post holder will lead communications relevant to financial matters, monitor accounts, drive efficiency and ensure that robust financial systems are in place to deliver assurance to the Board and the Executive Team. Ultimately contributing to the sustainability and the health and social care of the region.
To make this happen, the post holder will collaborate with the full range of stakeholders, including Foundation Trusts, and other healthcare providers, Government office and other regional bodies including local authorities.

You’ll provide professional leadership for all organizations in the region, building effective relationships and networks to ensure that the national finance direction of travel is relevant, credible, well communicated and ‘bought’ into by the finance community.
