You will have excellent analytical skills and a strong commercial sense, which they will apply to a broad range of commercial issues. Comfortable to work at pace, pivot from one issue to next, present their point of view coherently, know how to challenge constructively and be a great problem solver. The position presents the opportunity and challenge of working in a dynamic and exciting environment within the UK’s largest dedicated online grocery retailer.

• Lead a team of five (two senior finance managers, one finance manager and two analysts).
• Lead strategic thinking on customer marketing investment and drive improved return on marketing investment
• Drive cost saving initiatives across operations
• Finance lead the business cases on all strategic capital investment decisions

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Qualified ACA or ACCA
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Experienced leader of finance managers and analysts
• Highly numerate and analytical with a keen eye for detail 
• Excellent communication skills and able to build strong relationships with numerous stakeholders including senior leaders and external stakeholders
• Strategic thinking with ability to see the bigger picture and set stretching long term goals for the team and the wider business
• Methodical and organized and responds quickly to change, whilst demonstrating a proactive approach
