You will gain a good understanding of the ICS business and strategy across Intl markets and have the opportunity to work with numerous finance colleagues spanning many countries and disciplines.

Areas covered may include but will not be limited to:

• Coordinating projects and business initiatives across lines of business and regions in relation to IO
• Providing support on the Intl Sales IO process, leading the consolidation and review of submissions to understand drivers of ROIs, preparing analyses which help identify opportunities for optimization, and conducting analytics that help refine assumptions and drive consistency in approach

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Solid understanding of financial statements, discounted equity cash flow valuation and card economics.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and TM1
• Working knowledge of AXP and/or ICS specific finance data capabilities
• Proven ability to influence others without having direct authority, including demonstrated ability to influence senior management in the company
• Excellent presentational skills, able to simplify the complex and effectively ‘tell the story’
• Strong business acumen, able to follow business and industry trends and relate to financial results
• Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CFA) or university degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Will be intellectually curious and have a desire to learn and grow
• Able to manage time and priorities effectively with a proven ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously without losing traction
• A flexible attitude, comfortable dealing with ambiguity
