Financial Controller
Full-time, Permanent - Temporarily remote
Job Description

1.Epiroc Way' and that financial reporting and accounting matters are in accordance with FAM and local statutory practice, through accurate, relevant and timely business and financial analysis, reports and scorecards.

2.To work closely with Internal Service Provider.

3.To ensure the companies has an efficient internal control environment to protect the companies’ assets.

4.To work with the General Manager in developing the business strategy and plan for Epiroc UK & Ireland

5.To review, monitor and control the planning process for financial targets and goals.

6.To work with the business line managers in developing their business opportunities and contributing to the development of sales and profitability.

7.To closely follow-up on business results versus trends and analyse deviations from the plan.

8.To ensure leading business indicators and highlights/red flags are produced to support the management team in steering the business.

9.To ensure a professional and efficient credit control and collections procedure is in place; is communicated and well understood within the company.

10.To actively manage and develop the Credit control function to ensure they have the competencies and application to fulfil their roles and responsibilities within the company.

11.To participate in, prepare and deliver presentations to our Companies, Business Review and executive meetings.

12.To assume the role of Companies’ Secretary.

13.To be an active member of the management team.

14.To participate in Division and Group projects relating to business control and A&M activity.

15.To undertake any projects relating to the companies’ finance and accounting strategy.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience requirements Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance and/or business control Business analysis and risk management Business oriented and able to communicate effectively with Customers at all levels Working with quality, accuracy and deadlines Experience from an International business environment. Working with Information systems, including MS Office Knowledge / Educational requirements University degree in Finance, Economics or similar academic background, ACCA or CIMA Qualified. Fluent in English is a must. Knowledge of Epiroc's or Atlas Copco's Finance and Administration Manual (FAM) is advantageous. Familiar with Group accounting principles, IFRS and local statutory rules.
