Job Description
This is a fast-paced and challenging role with tasks and responsibilities which span several key finance disciplines including:

Responsibilities
- Preparation of month end journals, to include raising accruals and prepayments and resolving any corrective entries required in the general ledger.
- Committee fee processing, reconciliations, journals, payments
- Payroll and associated returns, FTE sheet and reconciliations
- Ensure month-end procedures are adhered to and accounting deadlines met.
- Review monthly reconciliations across a range of items including balance sheet accounts and liaise with shared services partner to resolve variances.
- Ensure managers are made aware of significant financial issues and risks.
- Prepare financial management information from SOP system generated reports.
- Review monthly expenditure items and raising and resolving issues with shared services partner.
- Collate and respond on periodic returns.
- Ad-hoc project work across Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, Operational.
- Prepare financial evidence for interim and year-end audits and work with auditors to resolve audit questions.
- Develop and maintain Management Information systems to enable reporting.
- Support the Corporate Team with internal audit processes.
- Responding to finance queries from both internal stakeholders and external suppliers in a timely manner through effective management of the Finance Team Outlook inbox.
- Purchasing tasks, including but not limited to, raising requisitions, receipting PO’s, liaising with shared service partner to resolve issues.
- Checking and processing credit card (GPC) expenses.
