Job Description

COMPANY

My client, a leading IT recruitment firm based near Central London are looking to recruit an business admin apprentice to join its growing IT teams. Specializing in recruitment across IT including software developers, web developers and architects they have developed into a leading London supplier and are seeking apprentices to train and develop into an administration role.

ROLE

As an apprentice/trainee you will be guided in your learning by a senior member of the recruitment team helping develop your skills and industry knowledge. This apprenticeship will suite those with minimal to no recruitment experience, recent school/college leavers or young individuals looking for a change of employment. Due to the nature of the apprenticeship full training and support will be provided over the 12 month course with the possibility to move on afterwards to a full time position within the company.

DUTIES

Your day to day duties can include:

  • Publishing updates across social media and blog sites (e.g. Twitter, LinkedIn, company blog)
  • Creating reports on the responses and viewing stats from these platforms
  • Dealing with lists and reports in Excel
  • Researching news stories to publish in current affairs / Business related news for internal communication (via news-letter) and on the web
  • Creating pitch packs for consultants using MS Office Templates on Power point and Word
  • Doing some data entry and office admin duties (printing, shredding, filing)
  • Seeking and presenting quotes for events booking and purchases
  • Assisting with events organization

REQUIRMENT

As this is an apprenticeship no previous experience is required, however you will need to meet certain criteria in order to be eligible for the role. Whether you have recent left school or college and are looking for your first step on the career ladder or even an alternative to further education an apprenticeship is the best path.

The employer is keen for people with a keen eye for details, good levels of communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel) and emails.

Previous experience in a office based role or having worked or studied within IT would be advantageous but not essential.
