Job Description
- Proactively provides expert specialist business process and/ or specialist technical systems advice and consultancy to representatives of the business and other areas of IT in line with the demands of the Strategic Portfolio.
- Deploys strong leadership skills in managing others including IT colleagues, project teams and business functions in the delivery of Business Cases, ensuring own work remains on track.
- Leads and accountable for investigative architectural analysis activities to seek effective business solutions, and support through delivery.
- Develops business architecture application and processes containing logical models of both business and application components, detailing the steps and interfaces. Produces detailed component specifications for business processes and applications architecture, taking account of intended use the process and the architectures.
- Accountable for full technical and solution design aspects of business application and processes
- Maintains broad solutions architectural knowledge at a lead level by reading relevant literature, attending conferences and seminars, meeting and maintaining contact with others IT professionals and should take an active part in appropriate learning opportunities, professional and trade bodies
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Using your outstanding organisation and stakeholder engagement skills you will have a strong track record of proactively providing specialist business, process and technical consultation to the business.
- Experience of supporting with vendor and service level agreements management including negotiations and contract terms and conditions.
- Be an analytical thinker who boasts a strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Strong experience of working with legacy and modern system integrations including build and test phases.
- Be an expert in business process analysis techniques and standards e.g. Lean 6-sigma or application development methodologies.
- In depth knowledge of the QMS database as part of ISO9001 accreditation and all appropriate legislations.
