Job Description

• You'll work closely with the Financial Controller and Management Accountant to ensure our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes run like clockwork, including:
  • Completing weekly and monthly reconciliation of multi-currency bank accounts and investigating abnormalities.
  • Monitoring accounts inbox and responding to accounts payable/receivable queries in a timely manner.
  • Review employee expense claims on a weekly basis, satisfying that they have been coded correctly with appropriate receipts and VAT has been recorded where necessary.
  • Ensure all invoices and purchase orders are correctly entered on Xero.
  • Responsible for preparing weekly supplier payment runs, ensuring these are accurate and paid in line with credit terms.
  • Manage supplier accounts and verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
  • Administration of customer accounts, aged debt analysis, and credit control.
  • Ownership of month end reporting items, inclusive of: order to sales reconciliation, fixed asset register, prepayments and intercompany journal entries.
  • Point of contact for credit control queries/issues.
  • Updating weekly cash flow reports, as a basis for working capital management.
  • Helping with the preparation for audits.
  • Provide ad hoc general support to the Finance function, particularly around month-end reporting.
