Job Description

You will work closely with an Accounts Manager supporting a number of Directors and Managers whilst working on your own diverse client portfolio. The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified (Part qualified, AAT qualified & QBE also considered) from a practice background and will be experienced in the preparation of year end statutory accounts, management accounts, tax compliance dealing with ad hoc client queries and reviewing the work of junior staff.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients
• Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Corporation tax computations
• Preparation of management accounts
• Review of VAT returns & bookkeeping
• Visiting clients at their premises
• Dealing with ad hoc client queries

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• ACA/ ACCA Qualified (ideally)
• Part Qualified/ AAT Qualified/ QBE also considered
• Practice experience is essential
