Job Description

The Finance Business Partnering team is responsible for providing support to business unit managers in respect of reporting, management information and performance measurement, whilst also supporting the development and review of prospective information such as budgets and forecasts.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnering and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders within assigned Business Units (BUs) and across Finance
  • Driving the month end close process ensuring the timely delivery of accurate management information on a consolidated and BU level, including monthly cost accrual postings and ledger review
  • Providing timely, relevant and informative management information and analysis to assigned company, including commentary and variance analysis
  • Leading monthly meetings with business managers to review financials, provide positive challenge and understand the company’s operations and cost drivers
  • Play an integral part in budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Performing ad hoc analysis for the business as required
  • Supporting monthly cost analysis and commentary provided to the Group Reporting Team and CFO
  • Development of Revenue and margin reporting and query resolution in support of Investment Managers
  • Drive strategic initiatives to support the CFO, developing better quality and more efficient management information whilst continually enhancing finance systems and processes
  • Manage direct reports, providing communication, support, coaching and mentoring to your reports and to the wider team
  • Provide cover and support to the Head of Finance Business Partnering as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified, with solid experience PQE, in a relevant accounting qualification
  • Ability to develop partnership relationships at all levels, both within the Business and Finance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills essential
  • Strong excel skills (minimum of vlookups and pivot tables) and have the ability to learn new systems
  • Power BI experience highly desirable
  • Analytical skills essential
