Job Description

You will be responsible for assisting with financial support to various support functions of the business including People, Legal, Finance, Compliance. This is a highly commercial role and involves driving business performance through accurate, reliable and insightful financial reporting and analysis, to aid business decisions. You will:

  • Track, report and forecast cost and understand the drivers/KPIs
  • Build effective working relationships to both support and challenge functional teams
  • Challenge the business and hold them accountable, whilst also being a trusted advisor
  • Work with other teams in finance as the corporate costs subject matter expert
  • Work closely with each team to assist in evaluating strategic opportunities, business cases and initiatives
  • Support in driving the performance and reporting agenda across WorldRemit

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Professional, “get it done” attitude and work ethic
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage conflicting demands and appropriately priorities
  • Strong attention to detail: High standards of accuracy and precision
  • Good commercial acumen. Prior Commercial Finance experience desirable
  • Experience with analysis, forecasting, and management reporting
  • Strong Excel skills - working on large and complex data sets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
