Job Description

This is a newly created role for an experienced qualified accountant, reporting to the Finance Manager, with a blend of financial accounting and commercial responsibilities.

Responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the quarterly management accounts at property level and joint venture cash flow reporting
• Oversight of day-to-day financial operations on development projects and Joint ventures of the group
• Work closely with the Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly and/ or quarterly development cost reports, budgeting, forecasting, P&L and cashflow
• Preparation of lender reporting
• Prepare the daily cash reporting for the directors
• Review monthly/quarterly client account reporting
• Review the bank reconciliations
• Assistance with the annual audit
• Quarterly lease incentive spreadsheet update
• Support with the new accounting software implementation
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• ACA / ACCA qualified
• Prior experience in financial accounting in a real estate investment firm or practice in essential
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Hands-on mentality and strong project management skills
