Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join a new Sales Support team. The Sales Support Executive will play a key role in the overall growth of the business and account management by improving the efficiency of the on boarding of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with Customers to arrange new bookings & orders
- Booking & updating orders/shipments on to the system
- tracking vessels
- keeping customers up to date with shipment information & advising any potential problems or delays
- Working with BDM to confirm rates/carriers for bookings
- Send booking instructions to agents and liaising with operators/client to ensure a smooth process
- Database management: this will include accurately entering new leads onto our IT platform, ensuring ALL customer information has been accurately recorded
- Regular fixed quoting of prospects
- Monitor and respond to emails for BDM’s on their prospecting call days (1-2 days per week) or when they are out of the office.
