Job Description

The finance department is an integral part of the business, ensuring the agency is profitable and information is prepared in a timely manner. The role is vital to the effective and profitable operation of the agency, and its importance in running an efficient business cannot be underestimated.

You’ll assist the Commercial Finance Manager in the day to day running of the accounting function for our businesses – Month end, data management & budget preparation. All with the highest attention to detail and accuracy across all processes. You will take full ownership for your tasks and be proactive in identifying smarter ways to work.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the full month end process, in line with month end deadlines
  • Month end variance analysis
  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset register
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Data Management across all platforms - Xero, Companion, Salesforce, etc
  • Client invoicing
  • Intercompany invoicing
  • Preparation of budget
  • Process Improvement
  • Ad hoc analysis

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • IT literate and Great understanding of G-Suite
  • Looking to/currently studying towards an accountancy qualification
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, to your internal team and suppliers
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong level of organizational skills, written and verbal, to your internal and external team
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Adept at building relationships at all levels
  • High level of organization with brilliant multi-tasking skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines so we deliver on time
  • Cool and calm when working under pressure along with the ability to anticipate - and solve – problems
  • Ability to produce work to a high standard quickly and professionally
  • Good team player – collaborative but also a good self-starter, able to work independently
  • Ability and confidence to support and educate staff (both within the team, and the wider business) to understand our financial procedures
  • Compelling ‘can do’ attitude
