Job Description
This role is to effectively and efficiently ensure all financial control responsibilities within business are met and in addition to manage the finance team with regard to performance, measured outcomes and service efficiency.
What will the role look like?
- Day-to-day management of the Explore Transport Finance team
- Management of all financial processes
- Manage monthly accounting and reporting, ensuring they comply with accountancy standards
- Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Ensure all necessary information is provided to funders and other lenders
- Presentation of all financial results to the Finance Director
- Interface with operational departments and shareholders as necessary on day-to day matters
- Responsibility for all tax and compliance matters
- Improvement of processes and systems and management of any new system implementations
- Preparation of statutory accounts and submission of company returns
