Job Description

Sales Ledger - raising weekly sales invoices
Credit Control - dealing with Customers to help resolve queries with tickets
Purchase Ledger Processing - coding and posting invoices on to SAGE & resolving queries with suppliers
Bank Reconciliations
Posting Receipts & Payments from the cashbook
Assist with monthly management accounts prep
Assisting in purchase invoice approval process
Reconciling Monthly Credit Card statements
Producing the monthly cheque run
Filing - ensuring that all paperwork is filed away on time and organised clearly so that it can be located quickly / Keeping archiving up to date
Banking - ensuring that any cheques received are banked in a timely manner (HSBC Harlow branch possibly once a week)
Calculating weekly and monthly profit share information
Support to the Senior Accounts Clerk and Group Finance Manager


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will need:

Excellent communication skills
Confident in using Microsoft Excel
Ability to work in a team
Excellent eye for detail
SAGE 50 experience beneficial but not essential
Must drive with car
