Job Description
  • Bank reconciliation and daily banking
  • Entering and processing payments
  • Allocating payment and cash flow
  • Creating supplier accounts
  • Managing petty cash transactions, mileage and expenses
  • Processing supplier payments
  • Dealing with purchase ledger queries internally and externally
  • Processing invoices and reconciling purchase invoices /credit notes
  • Reconciling Supplier Statements, Credit Card statements and monthly statements
  • Assist with Sales Ledger including sending invoices and statements to customers
  • Experience with Exchequer accounts software is highly advantageous

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal Finance Assistant will have at least two years hands on experience, and strong sales and purchase ledger experience, ideally within the construction industry,

  • AAT/ MAAT qualified, working towards CIMA,ACA or ACCA
  • Excellent bookkeeping experience
  • Excellent customer service skills - speaking with colleagues and clients alike
  • Experience with Exchequer accounts software is highly desirable
